How To Know Whether Your Depression Requires Medical Treatment Or Not?
NOT every happening of depression necessitates medical attention, especially if it can be attributed to an external stimulation such as as bereavement, break-up of a relationship, loss of job, etc. There are occasions in everybody's life when a depressive feeling originates and vanishes without any treatment. In this report, we shall briefly look at the criteria that bespeak a major depressive episode that warrants medical intervention. The criteria are divided into two sets and each set must be read in concurrence with the other.
Set 1: You should undergo at least five of the followers symptoms day-to-day for 14 days, with their strength remaining the same or increasing on consecutive days, and one of the symptoms is either (1) or (2) or both:
